Team Composition

Core Members

Team membership is comprised of a core group of individuals who are part of an integrated team carrying out the work. This is based on the principle that people who carry out the processes are in the best position to understand, assess and improve them.

The core membership of each team reflects;

  • The disciplines, professions, or departments that should be represented;
  • The mix of front-line and management staff that would be most effective;
  • The type of client, community and partner input that would be needed;
  • How car and services that are provided across the continuum are represented;
  • The size of the teams to meet the organization's needs;

Resource Members

Resource members are individuals representing support services, specialized services and partnerships who will provide information to the core team on an as needed basis to address specific components of the standards.

Clients

Client input is important. Many methods can be used for obtaining client feedback such as; membership on the team, individual interviews or focus groups.
