David Murray

CEO & President

David Murray is new to the position as the President and CEO of Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre which has been established as a Centre of Excellence for First Nations Health Care and serves the Sioux Lookout area as well as the 30 First Nations communities north of Sioux Lookout.

Before joining the Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre he was the CEO of the Waterloo Wellington CCAC which provided in home and community services to over 40,000 clients each year. Prior to holding this position he held other CEO positions within the health care sector such as inaugural CEO of the North East LHIN, President and CEO of the nationally recognized Group Health Centre in Sault Ste. Marie and CEO of the Kenora Rainy River CCAC.

Mr. Murray was originally involved in the Ministry of Health's Comprehensive Health Organization program known as Unicare CHO in the Rainy River district. He has always been a strong advocate for the north and health services for rural and isolated communities. He has a MBA and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree. He also holds the Certified Health Executive designation from the Canadian College of Health Service Executives.
