Doug Moynihan

Doug, who joined Sioux Lookout Meno-Ya-Win in November 2004, brings a fresh perspective to the Health sector and the Corporate Services Leadership function. He has demonstrated leadership experience in Human Resources and Organization Development from the private sectors such as Pulp and Paper (Bowater), the Food Industry (Kraft), and Oil Sands (Syncrude). Doug also has post secondary (Carleton University) anmunicipal government experience (HR Manager for the City of Fort McMurray) as well as consultation in private practice. His recent MBA researched and published on the topic, “How to Create and Sustain High Performing Teams”.

Doug maintains his membership as a Canadian Human Resource Professional (CHRP) with periodic teaching in the North Western Ontario Chapter in Thunder Bay.

He remains an active member of the Resource Utilization Committee and the Executive Committee at SLMHC.
